  • A 1965 Series 1 4.2 Roadster in arguably the best original condition that we’ve ever seen.

    As with the purchase of any special motor car, the collection date is one to look forward to.  For this Series 1 E-Type’s first owner that day was 22nd October 1965 and his enthusiasm is inked onto the page of his calendar, in which he’d written and circled a reminder to “Pick up CAR today.”

    The calendar page remains in the detailed history folder which also documents much of his 30-year ownership.

    Invoices for servicing and maintenance show not only his pride of ownership, but that the mileage of under 38,000 miles is genuine. Our thorough inspection process has also confirmed this car’s complete originality  - it is one of the best unrestored examples we have ever seen. 

There is wonderful patination to the matching colours paintwork & leather, and the overall condition & factory finish are quite superb; providing further evidence that this car has never been taken apart. The low mileage and matching numbers engine runs as strongly as you might expect for such a cherished and well maintained example.
