Ducati racing legends on exhibition for the Ducati Hailsham opening on Saturday July 5th
The stage is set for the opening weekend of Ducati Hailsham and to celebrate the event we're delighted to provide four iconic Foggy Ducatis from his incredible career.

1994 Carl Fogarty Ducati F94 - 916
World Championship Winner
The 916 ‘s first win was in front of a huge home crowd on the bikes debut at Donington Park. Foggy’s strong form continued throughout the season and he went into the final round at Phillip Island just 5 points ahead. He won the first race and a 2nd place finish in the final race was enough to secure his first ever Superbike World Title.

1997 Carl Fogarty Ducati F97 - 916
World Championship Runner Up
Foggy finished in the top four in the first six rounds and won at Brands Hatch and the A-1 Ring. With 13 podiums for the year he took runner-up spot in the World Championship.

1999 Carl Fogarty Ducati F99 - 996
World Championship Winner
One of just two bikes raced by Foggy in the 1999 season. He won 11 races this season with 9 of those on this very bike, including his iconic final home win at Donington Park.
It was also this bike upon which he claimed the World Title at Hockenheim.

2000 Carl Fogarty Ducati F00 - 996
Fogarty’s 2000 World Superbike Championship Bike
Foggy started the season off strong with two podiums from the first two rounds.
He recently stated that he is confident that he would have won the 2000 World Championship on this bike if it wasn’t for the Phillip Island accident that caused his early retirement.
We are delighted to have lent a further selection of Ducati racing legends from our collection to Ducati Hailsham for exhibition at their opening weekend. The selection includes some of the most important bikes from Ducati’s racing history consisting of three MotoGP bikes and three World Superbikes.
The six bikes are showcased around the edge of the showroom mezzanine and really make quite a sight as you can see details on each of the bikes below.

2003 Loris Capirossi GP3
The very first Ducati Moto GP win - the Catalunya round of the 2003 World Championship.
By utilising the first year of the new 990cc Moto GP era, introduced in 2002, for extensive development, new factory team entrant Ducati opened the 2003 season with a podium finish and this actual bike scored their first victory, by round six.

2008 Casey Stoner GP8
2008 was Casey Stoners first season as a reigning champion, he took 5 wins and 5 podiums and finished the championship in 2nd place.
This was also the final factory season using the ‘trademark’ trellis frame.

2011 Valentino Rossi GP12.0 prototype
The first aluminium twin spar chassis frame Ducati. This bike is chassis/frame number 1 of the new full aluminium twin spar frame - the basis of which is dominating MotoGP today.
It was tested and developed extensively by Rossi through to 2012.

2008 Troy Bayliss 1098 F08
Troy Bayliss rode the all new Ducati 1098 to his third world championship win in 2008. This made him the only Ducati rider in history to win three world championships on three different generations of Ducati bike.
Bayliss won 11 races this season with 5 wins and four podiums taken on this exact bike.
Bayliss announced his retirement at the end of the season making this his historic final championship win.

2003 Neil Hodgson 999 F03
For the first year of the new Ducati 999 Hodgson dominated the championship with 11 wins from the first 12 races.
He was so far ahead of the competition that he secured the championship with 5 races still remaining.
This is the exact bike that Hodgson rode to 7 victories this season.

1998 Frankie Chili 996 F98
This was Frankie Chili’s 1998 season bike with Ducati ADVF.
For the 1999 season two factory-supported Ducati teams would become one - which left riders fighting to prove themselves worthy of a seat.
Chili had some legendary battles throughout the 1998 season, particularly with Carl Fogarty. This was his most successful season with 5 race wins, this also contributed to Ducati winning the manufacturers championship.
